Bar offers ask-a-lawyer program

Here’s a press release today from the El Paso County Bar Association:

El Paso County Bar Association Sponsors Free Ask-A-Lawyer Program, 2nd Saturday of each month, 10 am – 12 pm 

Colorado Springs, CO — September 15, 2010 — On the second Saturday of each month, members of the El Paso County Bar Association donate time to answer the public’s legal questions at no charge. There is no obligation to the individuals seeking information, and the public may remain anonymous. The attorneys always remain anonymous to avoid the appearance of solicitation.

The Ask-A-Lawyer program takes place at the Citadel Mall (750 Citadel Drive East, Colorado Springs, CO 80909), on the upper level of the food court in front of Guest Services. This program is only in effect from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on the second Saturday of each month. The Bar Association cannot offer legal information or advice at any other time. Individuals needing further information or representation are encouraged to speak with an attorney.

The El Paso County Bar Association is a professional association for attorneys that has been serving the local legal community since its founding in March 1902. The Bar Association’s mission is to provide legal information and services to its members and to promote respect for the law and the legal profession by the public.
